My approach with you is as individual as you are! It’s an approach based on my belief and experience that people seeking therapy want real change. They don’t want to learn to control or manage their anxiety, phobias, behaviours or habits, they want to overcome them completely, to transform them and their lives. I can help you do this through traditional psychotherapy and the additional transformative capabilties of hypnosis and psycho-sensory therapies.

Hypnotherapy is a very old and well established therapeutic modality that is still the ‘go-to’ approach for many issues. It has long been shrouded in mystery and misconception.  However, beneath these misconceptions lies a powerful therapeutic tool that has been used to help individuals to safely overcome a variety of challenges, from anxiety and phobias to addiction and chronic pain.

Psycho-Sensory Therapy uses cutting edge tools based on the most modern scientific understanding of brains and behaviour. It is founded on the principle that our senses play a crucial role in shaping our perception, emotions, and behaviors. By leveraging various sensory stimuli, such as sound, light, touch and guided visualisation, this therapy aims to induce specific psychological states conducive to healing, relaxation, focus, or creativity. To effectively and quickly impact on those thoughts and feelings we need to work with our minds and bodies as well.  This is where an integrated approach using the three pillars described above is more powerful and transformational. Anxiety, habits, panic attacks and phobias can feel irrational and out of control and that’s becase these ‘conditions’ exist within our physiology and are triggered and controlled by our ‘Limbic System’ and our ‘Autonomic Nervous System‘. It can be extremely difficult and time consuming to try and rationalise and think your way through them.  It’s far better to deal with them at their root, to stop them kin their tracks for good. Programmes are a cost effective way to focus on a specific area of development. They are delivered on a one to one basis and will be somewhat adapted to your individual needs but follow a more structred and pre-determined approach. GroupWorx

Some things are best done together!  Group sessions are an excellent way to learn a wide range of really effective skills for specific issues, situations and outcomes. They are also very educational. A group environment is  great for sharing experiences, providing support and offering real motivation as we all develop together! “At the age of 60 I decided that I really needed to stop my regular; irritating habit of chewing the inside of my mouth.

Not only did it do nothing for my appearance; sometimes became quite painful but also drove my partner around the bend! I’d previously stopped smoking through my own efforts but found that 55 years of mouth chewing was impossible to stop.

Andrew got to the root of why I had had this habit for so long; something I had never understood myself. I had five sessions and did feel that Andrew had to work for his money, as I didn’t feel that I was an easy patient. Was I hypnotised? I don’t really know!! “I saw Andrew 3 times about my anxiety and IBS. I have suffered with IBS for 7 years, trying tablets prescribed by the doctors to no avail. Due to this I have had anxiety for a year and a half caused by the IBS. I was afraid to leave the house, even for a short distance and not a day went by that I didn’t suffer from some anxiety. It made my life a misery and became too debilitating.

After seeing Andrew for 2 sessions I noticed a difference.
